Sampson County History Museum: Key to the Past
The Sampson County History Museum is a “village” of eleven buildings with thousands of artifacts spanning over 250 years of local history. Each building holds a unique key to the past – military, history, sports, law enforcement, agriculture, African American and Native American history and more. Two 18th century log cabins, a pre-Civil War farmhouse, a restored country store, a mill stone from an 1800’s grist mill, and modern exhibit halls, stand side by side telling the story of Sampson County.
We encourage you to stop by for a free guided tour and immerse yourself in the rich and diverse heritage of Sampson County.
