We’re excited to announce the return of our special guests, Fresh Start Rescue Inc, to Hubb’s Farm this fall on October 29, 2023!

About Fresh Start Rescue Inc
Fresh Start Rescue Inc is a remarkable 501c3 reptile rescue organization that has been dedicated to the welfare of iguanas and other reptiles for years. What started as a passion under another non-profit in Wilmington has now evolved into their own independent organization. They provide a safe haven for all types of reptiles and exotic animals, and their team of devoted rescue members and volunteers consists of specialists in caring for iguanas, snakes, chameleons, geckos, and exotic wildlife. Their expertise comes from years of learning the best practices to provide the utmost care to these magnificent creatures. Now, their ultimate goal is to find loving forever homes for reptiles in need.

Meet Nicole and Mike Spencer
Behind this extraordinary rescue mission stand Nicole and Mike Spencer, the passionate and caring souls who founded Fresh Start Rescue Inc. Their journey from public service to fulfilling their retirement dream is awe-inspiring. They have recently settled into a beautiful 5-acre farm in a quaint little town, bringing their dream of Fresh Start Farm to life. Here, they’ve created a sanctuary where goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and an abundance of reptiles coexist in harmony.

Hubb’s Farm is hosting a special event where you can visit Fresh Start Rescue Inc on October 29, 2023. The farm’s Fall Festivities will be in full swing, and included in your Farm admission is the opportunity to meet and interact with the rescued reptiles.

At the event, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with the rescue team and learn more about their mission to rescue and rehabilitate reptiles in need. This is an excellent educational opportunity concerning reptile care, conservation efforts, and ways you can support their cause.

This event is also about the exciting Fall Festivities at Hubb’s Farm, including Farm Animal Encounters, Wagon Rides, pumpkin picking, 15 acre corn maze, and more! Plus, don’t forget to indulge in delicious farm-fresh treats.
