Cista Lueeeze’s Brunch House Theatre  presents  VIP Dinner Theater – When  God is in the Building, a gospel comedy stage play and dinner theater.

When God is in the Building is a powerful dramedy that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. Lutha, a local church pastor, has strayed from his calling, and when his stepdaughter seeks revenge, her choices backfire in unexpected ways. As their lives collide, both are forced to face consequences they never imagined. Through twists, laughter, and heartfelt moments, they discover that they are not their mistakes—and that God’s love, grace, and mercy never fails.

The writer, Jacqueline Gathers, is a local playwright that has written and published five stage plays to include When God is in the Building.  Since 2017, Jacqueline has directed and produced each of her plays with 19 public performances that attracted sold-out audiences in Garner, Benson, Wilson, Erwin, Smithfield and Goldsboro performing arts theatres.  She stars in all her shows as her character “Cista Lueeeze” who is a witty Christian comedian that is known for “telling the brutal truth, just like it is.”

Great gospel singers, awesome cast members and dynamic live musicians, some of whom have performed in multiple productions presented by Cista Lueeeze’s Brunch House Theatre since its inception, work together to present each show with a spirit of excellence and professionalism. The main factor that sets this theatre apart is that it is a Faith based Kingdom ministry purposed to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Attendees will experience a depiction of everyday real-life stories presented in the form of theater which always leads to a demonstration of God’s forgiveness and restoration.

The VIP Dinner Theater- When God is in the Building will be held at The Sampson County Expo Center 414 Warsaw Road  Clinton NC on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 7:00pm.  Doors will open at 5:30pm. Dinner, catered by Denise’s Kitchen of Selma, NC,  will begin at 6:00pm. A live preshow featuring JQ and Company will begin at 6:15pm.  Tickets are available online at  www.CistaLueeeze.com  Dinner tickets are $45  in advance and $55 at the door.  Show ONLY tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.  Children must be at least 5 years old to attend.

Inspirational You Beauty Box, a retail beauty supply store that she launched in 2021 at the Carolina Premium Outlets Mall in Smithfield, NC. Her store’s motto is “When it comes to hair, we care.”  She offers a culturally diverse mix of haircare products, wigs, ponytails, toppers, clip in and tape in hair extensions, weaves, braid and crochet hair, barber supplies, etc.
