DESCRIPTION:“Thank a Farmer” Ag Weekend \nOctober 4\, 5 and 6 \nFriday: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.\nSaturday: 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.\nSunday: 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.\nAll ages – wear overalls and get $1 off admission. \nGoing to the grocery store is easy\, so we may not always think about the hard work that goes into growing our food. “Thank a Farmer” Ag Weekend is all about appreciating those who accept the responsibility of working the land and producing food for the world. Experience a bit of the farm life and see tractor displays from Sampson County’s Antique Tractor Club on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.  Tractor parade is Saturday at 4:30 pm and Sunday at 5:00 pm. \nOur Little Miss Pumpkin Princess Pageant will be held Saturday\, Oct. 5 at 2 p.m.\, followed by the Farmer Boy Overalls Pageant. Join in the fun! \nCome out on Sunday and see the Antique Tractor parade starting at 3pm.

A great outing for retirement and assisted living groups\, book clubs\, and others! \nAdmission is $8 per person. \nActivities include: \n9:15 a.m. – Relaxing Fall Season Hayride \n9:30 a.m. – A brief stroll through a shortened path in the Hubb’s Farm corn maze. \n10:30 a.m. – John and Tammy Peterson will share with the group how their family has diversified their farm and is now growing “Crops of Fun” and sharing agri-education with thousands of children\, teachers\, and families. \n11:00 a.m. – Enjoy fun and fellowship while playing KORNGO (Bingo on the \nFarm) \nCoffee and Pumpkin Spice Donuts – throughout the event \nIndividuals are welcome to participate in any of the above activities.
